Announcement: TFL Playoff Week 2
Posted: IEL]Simon @ Tue Nov 18, 2008 10:49 am
After a smooth first week of playoffs we have arrived at playday two. This time we will have another set of incredibly fine matches just for you guys. All except BP are newly named teams in the WC3L Qualifers so we are bound to be carried away yet again. Enough of all this talk, let me instead present the matches for this week:
M vs BVG
eQu vs EYE
These two matches will be played on our week two mappool which is looking like this:
1n1:
Gnoll Wood
Secret Valley
Twisted Meadows
Terenas Stand
2n2:
Turtle Rock
I would like to wish the remaining teams good luck and see you @ Finals!

Congratulations for winning WHL Season 5!!!!
Ako statement:
"I'd also like to send a very warm thanks to Wicked eSports on behalf of their decision to give the money to charity. As mentioned by most of the Wicked players, it is not a HUGE amount of money, but money is money. They hope that giving the prize money that they've righteously won to "SOS Kinderdörfer" will give opportunities to other children that they might not of had before.
Here is a link of the Wicked eSports official Post:
http://www.wicked-esports.com/?section=news_detail&news_ID=621#comment
I hope everyone learns a thing or two from this heart-warming decision.
Seriously guys, awesome stuff. I'm really happy for your decision and my respect to you has just gone through the roof. Congratulations on your win and even further applause for keeping us all in high spirits for the future of gaming."
Simon statement:
"First of all. Congrats to wicked and A1 for making it into the finals in the first place and furthermore congrats to wicked for winning this season of WHL. It has been a pretty good season and I hope the next one will get even better.
As Ako states your decision to donate the money is pretty outstanding in my eyes. I wish there were more people / teams like you out there.
Gl to both teams in your other leagues and I hope you will succeed in them as well."

Here we are for the final weeks in this season of The Frozen League. It has been a long season with up and downs in terms of teams leaving the league and the amount of good matches. We at the admin staff is very pleased to finally being able to congratulate the teams that maked it into the playoff:
Final Standing:

BP: 26P - 0P = 26P
EYE: 26P - 1P = 25P
RG: 22P - 0P = 22P
GaB: 23P - 3P = 20P
end: 17P - 0P = 17P
H2O: 16P - 2P = 14P
lgR: 15P - 1P = 14P
MsY: 10P - 2P = 8P

Announcement: IEL: WHL S6 & TFL S10 Applications
Posted: IEL]Ako @ Wed Nov 05, 2008 4:32 pm
International eSports League presents to you:
As we have just fully concluded Season I of IEL in general, we are at quite a turning point in the sucess of the league. As we have progressed along our journey toward making IEL as good as possible, we have picked up on our faults and have sharpened our features. To our demise, some of website wasn't fully fuctional for the duration of Season V. As an admin, and I'm sure as a player, this seemed inappropriate for such a league. For Season VI, I PROMISE all facets of the website including Player Statistics, TFL replays and other such problems will be absolutely perfect.
In International eSports League or IEL, we have two extraordinary leagues; WHL & TFL. Warcraft Heroes League is a NGL-style league and has always been increasing in size, popularity and skill. As we announce our Season VI, we look to even further increase the level of skill as well as sportsmanship, manners and overall excellence. 32 teams will be accepted into the Season VI qualifications of WHL. Out of these 32 teams, only 4 shall go on and compete in the regular season. WHL applications will be accepted effective immediately and will continue to be accepted until Friday the 21st of November.
The Frozen League is a WC3L-style league and has also been improving in various forms. We have reached a plateau of high level gaming, that our league can always be looked upon as a tough league. 24 teams will be accepted into Season X TFL qualifications, and only 4 shall qualify to the regular season. TFL applications will be accepted also, immediately and will continue to be accepted until Friday the 28th of November.
Without further ado, it gives me great gratification to be able to announce or 6th Season of Warcraft Heroes League: WHL as well as our 10th Season of The Frozen League: TFL.
Warcraft Heroes League & The Frozen League Application Format:
Team Name:
Team Tag:
Team Country:
Team Website:
Team ESL Link:
Team History:
Team Achievements:
Team Management (Include ALL forms of contact):
Team Roster (Include tagged accounts, country & race):
Player Accomplishments:
Projected Line-up (Top 4 soloists):
Current Leagues:
Why your team should be accepted and what will you bring to TFL/WHL:
Anything else you would like to add:
Which League do you wish to partcipate in, or both:
All applications are expected to have all the suitable information as listed above or will be disregarded. Please ensure that all applications have been thoroughly prepared and are readable, clean and professional. All applications are also expected to be adequately prepared and thorough, covering all subjects required.
ALL TEAMS are expected to have several people idling on IRC in #ieleague as much as possible.
All applications should be sent to internationalesportsleague@gmail.com and will be accepted in .doc and .txt form only. Teams can send .pdf or .pptx forms if they wish, but it must be sent in .doc or .txt as well. Please use this format when you email us "TAG League Apply" (Example: vG TFL Apply / vG WHL Apply / vG WHL/TFL Apply)
And since you are all wondering, Prize money is as follows:
WHL 1st Place: 300$USD
TFL 1st Place: 100$USD
Prize money may increase, but it will not decrease. It would be higher, but after qualifications we will be executing our 2nd IEL Cup. Best of luck to all teams applying, and good luck to our current teams in the playoffs for TFL and the finals in WHL.
